Woman found shot to death in Chicago’s West Town

CHICAGO — A 31-year-old woman was found fatally shot in the city’s West Town neighborhood.
Police officers were responding to calls of a person shot around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of West Hubbard Street, and discovered a woman with a gunshot wound to the head.
She was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
No one is in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.
