Skeletal human remains found in Cook County forest preserve

COOK COUNTY, Ill — Skeletal human remains were discovered in the Beaubien Woods Forest Preserve on Tuesday.

Cook County Sheriff’s Police detectives responded to area near 132^nd and Doty Avenue and made the discovery.

The remains were transported to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

No further information was made available.

An investigation is ongoing.
