Man, 28, fatally shot in Burnside

CHICAGO —  A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in Burnside early Saturday morning.

The man was walking outside on the block of 9400 St. Lawrence Avenue around 6 a.m. when a nonidentified man approached him and began to fire shots.

The 28-year-old man was transported to the University of Chicago Medical center with one gunshot wound to his left arm. He was pronounced dead.

The man also suffered a graze wound to the left side of his head but refused ems on scene.

No one is in custody and police are investigating.
