Man, 21, dies after being found unresponsive at Oak Street Beach

CHICAGO — A man has died after being found unresponsive in the water at Oak Street Beach.

Police said the 21-year-old was discovered just before 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Lake Shore Drive.

He was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The man’s identity has not yet been released.

Area Three Detectives are investigating.
