Like, in this case we might delete photos that we need. So, Google Photos has a feature to recover deleted photo’s and videos within 60 days of deleting them.
How To Recoved Deleted Photos and Videos from Google Photos
When we delete a photo/video in google photos, it not directly deleted instead it is moved to ‘Trash Folder‘ where it stays for 60 days and then gets permanently deleted. This Trash Folder allows users to recover all deleted photos back within 60 days i.e. before they are permanently deleted from the platform’s storage.
If you have enabled backup and sync on google photos or Google photo’s is your phone’s default photos app then you can use this steps to recover deleted app from Google Photos within 60 days on your smartphone,
- On your smartphone, open Google Photos app.
- Go to Library -> Trash folder.
- Find the image/video you want to recover -> Tap and hold on the image to get more options.
- Tap on Restore.
This will restroe the image back to its orignal location on your smartphones libaray and Google Photos.
If you want to restore image using your laptop, their is an option for that too in Google Photos. Follow these steps to recover deleted photos using your system,
- Go to photos.google.com.
- Click on Trash Folder in the left pannel of the website.
- Click on the photos to open it.
- At the top-right click on Restore button to get your photo back to its inital location.
