CPD: 3 dead, 2 critical in Southwest Side shooting

CHICAGO — 5 people were shot, two fatally, in a shooting incident that took place in the city’s Brighton Park neighborhood early Sunday morning.

According to police, it may have been a street racing incident. Three adults were transported to Mount Sinai hospital in critical condition.

Two adults were transported to Holy Cross Hospital but were dead upon arrival, police say.
