Boy critical after fall from 18th floor of North Side apartment building

CHICAGO – A 5-year-old boy is in critical condition after apparently falling from the 18th floor of an apartment building on the North Side.

Just after 6:40 p.m., first responders were called to the 4500 block of N. Clarendon Ave. following reports that a child fell from the 18th floor of a building.

Paramedics rushed the critically injured boy to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

No further details were released at this time.
