– Airtel and Vi makes Covid-19 relief plan, Rs 49 Plan for Free for Low-income users, and Doubles benefits for Rs 79 plan
VI and Airtel Service providers have provided new plans for its users which are updated such that people suffering during the covid-19 crisis. Both companies have launched two new offers for their low-income customer base. This will help Vi’s 60 million customers for a total amount worth Rs 259 Crore for people affected due to lockdowns and pandemics.
Vi Covid-19 Relief Plan for Low-income Users
The plan for the low-income group is a low data and small Talktime plan that will help them stay connected and informed during this lockdown period. For this, Vi has introduced two new plans as covid-19 relief for their customers.
The first offer is a free one-time Rs 49 recharge for users in low-income groups. The plan worth Rs 49 offers Talktime worth Rs 38, 300 Mb of free data for 28 days. The calling charges on this plan will be Rs 0.25/ second for all local and international calls. There is additional app recharges which will add an extra 200MB to this plan.
The other offer is a Rs 79 combo recharge that offers Talktime worth Rs 128 along with 200MB of data for 28 days. This is double the Talktime at the same price. The calling charges on this plan will be Rs 0.25/ second for all local and international calls. There is additional app recharges which will add an extra 200MB to this plan.
Airtel Covid-19 Relief Plan for Low-income Users
A plan similar to Vi, airtel aslo has set a covid-19 relief plan which is targeting the low-income user base. Initially their are 3 small plans from Airtel which come for Rs 45, Rs 49 and Rs 79. And Airtel has these plans aming the Cocid-19 pendamic and lockdown.
The first offer is Rs 49 recharge which comes as free one-time offer. The plan worth Rs 49 offers Talktime worth Rs 38.52, 100 Mb of free data for 28 days. The data ad-on will be charged as Rs 0.50 per MB.
The second offer which is announced as “double the benefits” is the recharge for Rs 79 which gives you a Talktime worth of Rs 128, with 200 MB of data for 28 days initially. The plan and announcements made reflect the same doubling of Talktime and/or data plan for the same period of time.
