CHICAGO — The Illinois State Police are looking into an incident that left one person shot near I-57 in Washington Heights Saturday afternoon.
According to the Chicago Fire Department, the incident happened near I-57 and 99th Street with one person being shot in the shoulder and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center.
It is unclear what condition the victim is currently in and whether the victim was shot on the highway or on a local city street.
