1 hurt after window falls from Streeterville high-rise

CHICAGO  — One person was hurt when part of a window fell from a high-rise building in Streeterville. 

Officials say it happened just before 9 a.m. Tuesday at the corner of Illinois and Saint Clair. 

Witnesses say the glass came crashing down onto the sidewalk.

The injured person suffered minor cuts and was treated at the scene.

An investigation is underway to determine what caused the window to fall off.
